Adam Gray

Principal Dentist

Growing up in East Lothian, Adam began studying dentistry at the University of Glasgow in 2004. After graduating in 2009 he remained in Glasgow, completing his Vocational Training year at Woodside Dental Practice in Maryhill before joining Stonehouse Dental Care (then known as Smilescene) as a dental associate in 2010.

During his time as an associate, Adam underwent post-graduate training in the provision of Intra-Venous Sedation and furthered his knowledge & skills in cosmetic dentistry by completing the Advanced Restorative Course Scotland (ARCS) in 2016.

Remaining committed to post-graduate education, Adam has worked in close associated with NHS Education for Scotland and became a trainer for newly qualified dentists in 2017 which he thoroughly enjoyed.

After 8 years as an associate, an opportunity arose to purchase Stonehouse Dental Care and Adam became practice principle in January 2018. Adam says this was an easy decision as he has loved getting to know so many wonderful patients over the last 10 years and he was very happy to commit his long-term future in Stonehouse.

Adam has also recently completed training in Facial Aesthetics and Invisalign tooth alignment, and he is excited about introducing these services into the practice.

Outside dentistry Adam is a massive football fan…watching and playing on a regular basis. He also enjoys travelling and spending time with his wife and two young sons.
